25 children hospitalized after teargas canister opens in Durban classroom
Updated | By ECR Newswatch
Police are still on scene at the Cato Manor Primary School in Durban where 25 pupils inhaled gas from teargas canister, earlier today.

It's being reported that the children were playing with the canister when it was accidentally pressed.
The SAPS's Nqobile Gwala says they're investigating how the teargas was obtained.
"It was accidentally pressed. They were taken to hospital for medical attention, after they inhaled the chemical. It is unknown where this canister was taken from."
Rescue Care's Garrith Jamieson says when emergency services arrived, a number of the children were crying or in distress.
They were first treated on the scene, before being taken to a local hospital.
"The children's injuries range from minor to moderate. Obviously with teargas, the actual gas affects people differently - they were injured differently."
