A total of 23 suspected rhino poachers have been arrested in the Kruger National Park in the last two-and-a-half weeks.
They were found in possession of 10 unlicensed high calibre rifles and ammunition.
SANParks spokesperson, Isaac Phaahla says they need the help of communities to fight poaching.
"We still are appealing to our neighbouring communities to help us in this fight by exposing those who are exploiting their children, husbands and relatives to hunt rhino illegally," said Phaahla.
"The people who send them into the park do not have the well-being of the communities are heart. They are criminals and they need to be exposed for that."
The arrests have been made since ranger, Respect Mathebula was killed in an encounter with poachers inside the park last month.
