22 hurt in KZN storm
Updated | By Steve Bhengu
It has been a busy night for emergency services in our province following last night's storm which resulted in structural damages and a number of injuries.

Heavy downpour saw some trees, roads and even some buildings sustain damage. The storm, accompanied by strong winds, lasted for several hours. IPSS emergency services were out and about the entire night responding to various incidents.
The service's Paul Herbst says more than 20 people were left hurt in the aftermath of last night's storm, mainly in the North Coast areas.
"The team attended to four structural collapses, 9 accidents, numerous flooding complaints and treated 22 people for minor to moderate injuries all related to the storm", he said.
"The team is still busy out this morning clearing up roads where massive trees have fallen blocking major intersections in Ballito preventing entrance and exits", Herbst said.
