Public Enterprises Minister, Pravin Gordhan told reporters in Pretoria earlier this month that teams are working hard to ensure the country does not remain in the dark over the Christmas period.
Gordhan also said they are working to ensure a more stable electricity supply come January when businesses re-open in 2019.
Eskom now says the is unlikely to be any loadshedding until mid Janaury.
