200 injured in Germiston train crash
Updated | By AlgoaFM News
Gauteng authorities say around 200 commuters have been hurt in a train accident at the Geldenhuys Railway Station in Germiston.

ER24 spokesperson, Russel Meiring, says their paramedics as well as other services arrived on scene where two trains collided.
"Paramedics arrived on scene to find scores of commuters walking around the scene. Paramedics found that one carriage had derailed and not overturned. About 200 people were assessed, they sustained injuries ranging from minor to moderate. Fortunately, no fatalities were found on scene," ER24's Russel Meiring says.
The accident comes in the wake of last week's horror train accident in the Free State which left 19 people dead and many more injured.
Officials have also revealed that 15 people are still unaccounted for, following Thursday's crash at a crossing between Henneman and Kroonstad.
The train was traveling from Port Elizabeth to Johannesburg when the accident happened.
