Reports from the scene are that a fully loaded low-bed tow truck lost control on a bend on Main Road and slammed into four schoolchildren on Friday morning.
ALS paramedics spokesperson Garrith Jamieson says the vehicle was found lying on its roof.
"A total of five people were involved in this collision. Unfortunately, three occupants, including two small children aged approximately six and nine, have been declared deceased on the scene.
