2 women, pet dog killed in Shongweni collision

Two women and their pet dog have been killed in a crash in Shongweni.
Their car collided with a truck transporting horses on Kassier Road on Wednesday.
KZN VIP Medical's Garrith Jamieson says the women are believed to have been in their 30s.
"Two people from the vehicle both females believed to be in their thirties and a dog sustained fatal injuries and there was nothing more paramedics could do for them and they were declared deceased on the scene.

"The truck driver sustained moderate injuries and was stabilised on the scene, before he was transported to a nearby hospital.
"The truck was carrying horses and the horses were then freed and put into another awaiting truck. They were then removed back to their stables. At this stage, it is believed that none of the horses were injured in the accident."
