2 trains torched at Cape Town station

Two trains have been torched at Cape Town station in the early hours this morning.
City of Cape Town Fire and Rescue Services spokesperson Theo Layne says that the fire department was called out at around 2am this morning.
“Two trains were burnt on the platforms, and 10 coaches were damaged between the two trains,” Layne said.
“The exact cause of the blaze is still unknown and an investigation is under way.”
Layne says there are no injuries reported.
Platforms 10 and 11 have been cordoned off, EWN reported. A delay of 40 minutes is expected on all lines.
Last week, a train was set alight at Muizenberg station, it was reported.
Three teenagers were arrested for starting the fire at Muizenberg train station.
Three carriages were damaged in that incident.
