Updated | By Nushera Soodyal
Two children have been killed after they were hit by a minibus taxi in Newlands West, north of Durban.

Robert Mckenzie, who speaks for KwaZulu-Natal Emergency Medical Services, says it appears the boys had been on their way to school on Dumisani Makhaye Drive this morning.
"Two school boys, aged 6 and 11-years have sustained fatal injuries earlier this morning. Paramedics responded to the scene to find that the boys had already passed away when they examined them," Mckenzie said.
