2 killed, 18 hurt in Umlazi crash
Two people have been killed and 18 others injured in a crash near the Mega Philani Valley Mall, south of Durban.
Paramedics say two minibus taxis collided on the M35 towards Umbumbulu.
KwaZulu-Natal Emergency Medical Services' Robert McKenzie says eight people have serious injuries, while the rest were treated for minor ones.
"The exact circumstances resulting in the crash are not known at this stage and will be investigated by the traffic department and police," he said.
