Two people have been injured in two separate accidents on Margaret Mcadi Road the former Victoria Embankment in the Durban CBD this afternoon.
A man was hit by a car in the Westbound carriageway.
KwaZulu-Natal's Emergency Services' Robert McKenzie says about 100m away in the opposite direction a woman was also struck by a car, leaving her with serious injuries.
"In both incidents, the patients were knocked by a vehicle. The patients were stabilised at the scene before being transported to hospital. The exact circumstances resulting in the cars hitting the pedestrians are not known at this stage and will being investigated by the police," he said.
