eThekwini Municipality says technicians will be doing tie-ins and pipe relocations on the existing bulk water supply network for the new Midway Mall in Newlands East.

The water shutdown will begin at 6am on Thursday through to midnight.

The municipality's Msawakhe Mayisela says, "Other bulk water pipes will be diverted for water reticulation purposes for that particular development we are therefore appealing to the public to use water sparingly and bare with us."
