17 people have been injured after two vehicles collided along the N3 at the Mariannhill Toll plaza in Pinetown this morning.

The impact saw one of the vehicles, a bakkie, crash into the toll plaza infrastructure. It's unclear what were the dynamics at play moments before the crash.
KZN VIP Medical Paramedics were among emergency personnel who responded shortly after.
The service's Garrith Jamieson explains.
"A total of 17 people sustained injuries ranging from minor to moderate and immediately more ambulances were dispatched", he said.
"The injured were treated on scene before being transported by ambulance to hospitals for further care. At this stage circumstances leading up to the crash are unknown but SAPS were on scene and will be conducting investigations", Jamieson said.
