15-year-old crashes truck through police road block
Three people - including two tourists from England - were injured on the N2 in Mosselbay.
ER24 says a fifteen-year-old boy allegedly stole a truck and crashed through a road block, set up to stop him.
"It is understood the teenager crashed into two provincial traffic vehicles, as well as a private vehicle", said ER24's Werner Vermaak. A
A young woman and two others - believed to be from England - were injured.
"A woman, believed to be in her twenties, and a 65-year old man were severely trapped inside the vehicle. A 64-year-old woman was also found in the vehicle. She was treated on the scene for moderate injuries and transported by ER24 to Bayview Hospital", said Vermaak.
The fifteen-year-old was assessed and treated on the scene and transported to Mosselbay Provincial Hospital. He sustained minor injuries.
Police are investigating the incident.
