15 children injured after transport vehicle rolls into embankment
Updated | By ECR Newswatch
15 children have been injured this afternoon after a vehicle they were travelling in lost control and veered off the road in Thornville, near Pietermaritzburg.

It is understood the driver of the vehicle didn't pull up the hand brake after parking to go off somewhere.
ER24's Russel Meiring says the vehicle eventually stopped at the bottom of the embankment.
He said that on arrival at the scene, paramedics assessed the children - aged between five and eight - and discovered that many had sustained minor to moderate injuries.
They were treated at the scene before being taken to the Northdale and Edendale hospitals respectively, for further treatment.
