14 injured in M4 crash in Durban

Fourteen people are recovering in hospital after they were involved in a collision on the M4 between Umhlanga and La Lucia, north of Durban.

It's understood that a fully loaded minibus taxi and a vehicle collided - veering off the road on Saturday.
Netcare's Shawn Herbst says different emergency personnel were dispatched to the scene.
"Medics found that twelve occupants from the taxi had sustained minor to moderate injuries. The driver of the car, an adult female had sustained moderate injuries."

"The lady was treated on scene by a Netcare 911 emergency care practitioner while the Fire and Rescue Services used hydraulic tools to free her from the vehicle.
"Once stabilised, all patients were transported to hospital for further care."
