123 new COVID-19 deaths recorded in South Africa

One hundred and twenty-three more people have lost their lives in South Africa, after contracting COVID-19, bringing our death toll to 18 151.
The Health Ministry says KwaZulu-Natal's reported 17 fatalities in the last 24 hours and has over 5 700 active cases.
More than 1 800 new infections have been registered.
It's taken the number of people diagnosed with coronavirus, since the outbreak here, to over 696 000.
Of that figure, there've been more than 626 000 recoveries.
