12 pupils hurt in Durban taxi crash

12 children have been taken to hospital following a crash involving a minibus taxi in Glen Anil, north of Durban.
Rescue Care's Garrith Jamieson says a taxi transporting school children and another vehicle collided at the intersection of Blackburn Road and Chris Hani Road, that is the old North Coast Road, this morning.
"On arrival, paramedics found that a taxi carrying school children had collided into a vehicle. A total of 12 children aged between the ages of six and twelve had sustained various injuries."

Jamieson says the scholars were stabilised on scene before being transported to various local hospitals.
