Dozens of schoolchildren have been hurt in a crash on the N2 near the old Durban airport.
A minibus they were being transported in collided with a delivery van in the southbound carriageway on Friday afternoon.
"Reports from the scene are that as many as twelve school children sustained injuries ranging from minor to moderate whilst one adult suffered moderate injuries," says Emer-G-Med's Kyle van Reenen.
"The injured were treated and stabilized on scene before being taken to various nearby hospitals for further medical care."
