12-hour power cut for uMsunduzi

Residents of uMsunduzi are expected to be without electricity for 12 hours today.

This as the Woodburn Primary Substation undergoes some maintenance affecting a number of areas.
Municipal spokesperson Thobeka Mafumbatha says interruptions will commence from this morning.
"The power outage is scheduled to start from 7am till 7pm", she said.
"Areas to be affected include Scottsville, Pelham, Woodburn Mall, New England Race Course and Casino, Nedbank Plaza, DUT, UKZN, Oribi, parts of the city centre, Wenslyedale, Epworth school, St Johns school, Mediclinic and surrounds", Mafumbatha said.
