Updated | By Steve Bhengu
11 people have been left injured after several houses were damaged by a storm in the Ladysmith area, in northern KZN, last night.

At least two houses had their walls collapse, with the roof being torn-off numerous others. According to KZN EMS' Robert McKenzie, those hurt needed medical attention.
"Two of the 11 patients treated were in a serious condition. They were taken through to hospital for continued medical care," he said.
Officials from Disaster Management are on the scene today assessing the damages, and providing assistance to those in need.
