11 escape PMB factory fire
Eleven workers are lucky to be alive after escaping a factory fire in Pietermaritzburg's Eastwood area last night.
They managed to get to safety by breaking open windows and burglar bars at the facility.
ER24 say they assessed the workers on scene, finding that one man sustained burn wounds.
He was treated for moderate injuries before being taken to hospital.
Two other people were hurt breaking the windows. It is unknown what sparked the blaze.
