107 new coronavirus related deaths in South Africa

South Africa's COVID-19 death toll has climbed to 17 780 - after the deaths of 107 more people.

One thousand five hundred and seventy-five new infections have been recorded in the last 24 hours, bringing the number of positive cases confirmed in the country to over 692 000.
More than 623 000 people have recovered from coronavirus since the outbreak - keeping the recovery rate steady at 90%.
KwaZulu-Natal has just over 5 700 active cases.
