1 killed, 2 critical in N2 truck crash
Updated | By Steve Bhengu
One person has died while 2 others are in a critical condition after a heavy goods truck rear-ended another along the N2 in the vicinity of the Umvoti toll this morning.

The crash has left both directions of the N2 closed off as emergency personnel are still working the scene and motorists planning to use the road are warned to find an alternative route. IPSS emergency service's responded to the accident and treated those hurt.
The service's Paul Herbst says the road will be closed off on both sides for next few hours.
"Both north and southbound lanes are currently closes due to diesel, sugar spillage and the recovery process," he said.
"Traffic is being redirected off to Tinley Manor and onto the R102. Estimated time before the road re-opens is an a few hours," Herbst said.
