1 913 new COVID-19 cases in SA, 145 deaths recorded

One hundred and forty-five more people have died in South Africa after they'd contracted Covid-19 - bringing the country's death toll to 17 248.
The Health Ministry says 42 of those fatalities were recorded in KwaZulu Natal.
It says the country's registered more than 1 900 new infections in the last 24 hours.
We've identified over 685 000 positive cases to date.
More than 618 000 people have beat the virus - which means our recovery rate remains 90%.
KZN has 5 792 active cases - a little more than yesterday's 5 707.
