Off-duty cop shot while travelling with family

An eThekwini Metro police officer has been left wounded after a shooting incident in Montclair, south of Durban.

It's understood that he was shot in the neck while driving along Kenyon Howden and South Coast Roads yesterday.
Durban metro police spokesperson, Parboo Sewpersadh says the senior officer was off duty at the time.

"He was travelling with his family in his car. Furthermore, the suspect was shot and arrested at the scene.
The condition of the senior police officer is in a stable condition."
