Emergency services narrow down search for missing Durban woman

Rescue teams are narrowing in on a possible area identified by the police K9 unit yesterday.
Scriven went missing on Monday.
The sixty-two-year-old's family believes she was caught up in the severe flooding after her vehicle experienced mechanical problems.
Marshall Security's Kyle van Reenen is urging motorists to avoid Old North Coast Road between Cypress Drive and Sneezewood Road due to search and rescue efforts in the area.
"Yesterday, the search and rescue unit from the SAP K9 unit indicated a biological stench within the debris in the river. This morning, what we're seeing is heavy rescue units from eThekwini Fire and Rescue who will attempt to excavate that debris and see if there's any further indications and will take it from there," he said.
Meanwhile, the SA Weather Service says weather conditions will begin clearing from today.
The service's Julius Mahlangu says areas close to Richards Bay on the North Coast can still expect heavy rainfall and possible flooding.
"There'll be scattered clouds in the afternoon and than it will basically clear from tomorrow so we can expect to see the sun," he said.
