Zayne Malik signs new record deal
Former One Direction star, Zayne Malik has tweeted a picture showing him signing a new record contract.
The 22-year-old has signed a record deal with RCA Records - owned by Sony Music.
Other artists signed to the label are Alicia Keys, Justin Timberlake and A$AP Rocky.
The singer, who quit the British boy band earlier this year, wrote "I guess I never explained why I left", and adds he wants to show fans the "real me."
Simon Cowell - who signed 1D after they were on the X Factor - used twitter to offer Zayn his congratulations.
