In the song, Zahara talks about how she has had to persevere in the midst of pain.

The SAMA award-winning singer lost her elder sister Nomonde Mkutukana in March.

The death of her sister comes a few years after she lost her little brother, who was gunned down in a gang fight.

In 2019, Zahara was hospitalised for liver disease.

These are just some of the painful moments she has openly spoken about in public.
