Yvonne Chaka Chaka heartbroken over fake death report
Legendary musician Yvonne Chaka Chaka has become the latest victim of scammers trying to collect money using her name.
Yvonne Chaka Chaka was left furious after an entertainment site reported that she died and posted her obituary.
“We grieve with the family of Yvonne Chaka Chaka, we see how demorilizing they could be at this moment,” stated the article.
The site even asked for funding for the funeral.
Chaka Chaka posted a screenshot of the website and expressed how mean their actions were.
“Some FOOL posted my Obituary and even asked people to contribute in a go fund me acc. For my burial. How mean can you be,” she wrote.
The obituary was posted on April 17.

Many Tweeps were left furious and some even asked Chaka Chaka to have the law intervene.
“It's about time that the law coerce the banks to cooperate with law enforcement agencies and disclose the administrators of such accounts as surely the banks are privy to/about the owners of such accounts,” one user wrote.
