What Tom Hanks wants for Christmas
What do you get the guy who has everything for Christmas? For Tom Hanks, it seems the 57-year-old actor wants something rather practical.
"You know, I could use some running pants," he said earlier this month at the Los Angeles premiere of his latest film, Saving Mr. Banks, in which he plays Walt Disney.
And for his wife Rita Wilson, Hanks said he hadn't yet decided on a gift, but had narrowed down the possibilities.
"I don't know, I'll go the toaster oven route, but a really cool toaster oven. Like one that you can just set, and it's automatic," he shared. "Maybe a rice cooker...because she's handy in the kitchen."
Saving Mr. Banks, which also stars Emma Thompson as British author P.L. Travers, will be in theaters in South Africa from February.
