Disney just dropped a new trailer for 'Frozen 2' and all we can say is Elsa better check herself before she wrecks herself, and by check herself we mean her magical powers.

The latest instalment of the hit movie franchise seems much darker than the first one with Elsa and her little sister, Anna, going on their most dangerous adventure yet.

At the beginning of the trailer, Elsa is seen trying to use her powers to sprint across the sea, but she is unsuccessful and falls into the ice-cold water where she sees a magical horse.

Are her powers not strong enough or is something holding her back?

In a quest to find out more about her powers, Elsa and Anna turn to Grand Pabbie - the wise elderly troll - for help.

He paints an ominous picture of what is to come.

"Elsa, the past is not what it seems. You must find the truth. Go north across the enchanted lands and into the unknown. But be careful... We have always feared Elsa's powers were too much for this world. Now we must hope they are enough," he says.

To which Anna replies: "I won't let anything happen to her."

It's definitely not the cute children's movie it was in 2013 and there was no happy singing in the trailer.

The good news is Olaf, Kristoff, and Sven are back for part two and viewers can expect two new characters to join the fold.

'Frozen 2' will be released worldwide on November 22.
