The heartbreaking video of an 11-year-old boy describing the bullying he endured at his school has taken a strange twist.

Keaton Jones' mother Kimberly Jones  - who shared the video on Facebook - has been accused of being a racist, and trying to use her son's pain to make money.

According to Us magazine, the viral video has been taken down.

Celebrities such as Justin Bieber, Snoop Dogg, Katy Perry, Cardi B, and Chris Evans came out to support Keaton after his tearful video went viral at the weekend.

He opens up about how bullies make fun of his nose, call him ugly,  and poured milk on him.

"Why do they bully? What's the point of it? Why do you find joy in taking innocent people and finding a way to be mean to them. It's not okay," the boy asks in the heartbreaking video.

Scores of people around the world, including celebrities, rallied in support of Keaton.

"Stay strong, Keaton. Don’t let them make you turn cold. I promise it gets better. While those punks at your school are deciding what kind of people they want to be in this world, how would you and your mom like to come to the Avengers premiere in LA next year?" actor Chris Evans tweeted.

Eva Longoria wrote on Instagram: "I love this boy and I've never met him. YOU are an angel my friend, don't ever let others define who you are. You are brave and beautiful just as you are."

A GoFundMe page - which has since been shut down - raised thousands of dollars for the 11-year-old and his family. He has also been invited to several events by high-profile stars and athletes.

The principal at the school Keaton attends, says bullying "was not as rampant as the video would have you believe".

"I can't tell you what was done, but I can tell you action was taken with the children," Principal Greg Clay told USA Today.

He added that the incident described by Keaton was resolved two weeks ago.

Keaton's mother is receiving backlash for racist comments she allegedly made on social media.

Internet users found posts on her Facebook page that raised more than a few eyebrows.

Some have accused Kimberly of being a scam artist.

"Go look at her IG watch her story posts she just running a money scam. Really really sad and disgusting. Tagging celebrities trying to get them to donate to her go fund me account smfh," professional Muay Thai kickboxer Joe Schilling said on Instagram.

Kimberly has shut down her Facebook page.

"I've taken that down for a reason," she told Fox News, but didn't reveal why.

Kimberly denies she is using her son to make money.

"I love my kids: Ya'll people do not know me or my family. Did y'all know that my son Keaton was spit on in school, picked on by teachers, that supposed to be there for him??? I'm guessing y'all didn't because y'all wanna steady Judge me and say I'm using him for money that's false," she said on Instagram after the controversy.

But many celebrities are still sending Keaton an outpouring of love and support, despite his mother's alleged racism.

They hope the video will help create awareness about the affects of bullying.
