Taylor Swift’s music continues to break records.

According to media reports, her 2020 album, 'Folklore', has reportedly sold 1.276-million copies between its release on July 24 and December 31. This makes it the top-selling album of the year in the U.S and the only album to sell at least a million copies during the year, according to MRC Data - the leading music sales data platform under Nielsen.

Billboard reports that Swift is the first act to have the year’s top-selling album five times since MRC Data’s first full year of tracking in 1992.

Her other albums that broke records include, ‘Lover’, ‘Reputation’, ‘1989’, and ‘Fearless’.

Over the weekend, the star announced that she has released two bonus tracks from her latest album, 'Evermore'.

"The evermore deluxe album with 2 bonus tracks “right where you left me” and “it’s time to go” is now available!"

She explained the meaning behind the two songs.

"The first is a song about a girl who stayed forever in the exact spot where her heart was broken, completely frozen in time. “it’s time to go” is about listening to your gut when it tells you to leave. How you always know before you know, you know?," she wrote.
