Smiling sloth selfie wins the internet
Updated | By East Coast Radio
A tourist’s hike through a rainforest in
South America produced an amazing selfie, worthy of breaking the internet.

How cute is this!? I love how happy the sloth looks in this pictures, it's all sorts of ridiculous!
PR Manager Andrew Bloch spotted a sloth while hiking recently and did what most tourists would do these days – he pulled out his self-stick to capture a cute snap with the critter.
The sloth, which was high in a tree, seemed captivated by its reflection in the selfie, and gave the cutest smile we have ever seen.
Considering that sloths spend 70-percent of their lives sleeping, Andrew was lucky to capture the critter with its eyes open – let alone giving a smile.
“I'm totally against the selfie-stick but every now and then an exception comes along,” Andrew tweeted.
His “slothie” has been retweeted more than 25,000 times, and has over 31,000 likes.
Snapping selfies is like drinking water - it is natural and some folk couldn't live without it.
Social media sees selfies being taken in the most unacceptable situations notably that story of the girl who snapped herself along side a dead body.
The image has been viewed nearly two-million times on Imgur.
