It's been 15 years since the first movie was released and fans have been begging for a sequel ever since.

"That movie has grown so much on cable and TV that I feel like when you do it it's going to be a blockbuster," said Andy.

Terry joked that he has been keeping himself in top shape just for the sequel.

"I'm staying in shape just for that movie. I've been working out for 15 years so we can so 'White Chicks 2', y'all. Please, please."

Don't rush out and buy a blonde wig for the 'White Chicks 2' premieres just yet. Marlon Wayans has poured cold water on claims the sequel is a done deal.

He took to Instagram to call Terry out for his bold statement about the film.

"My face when @terrycrews tells the world #whitechicks2 is happening but we still don’t have a deal in place... now every fanworld wise dms excitedly “IS THIS TRUE”?! Um... NO! Not yet. #ohterry," Marlon captioned a picture of his character.

Fans pointed out that he didn't say the movie isn't happening, just that there is no deal yet, and that is all they need to know to keep hope of a sequel alive.

Terry apologised for getting ahead of himself.

"Sorry man! I’m only ready when you are!" he commented.

Busy Phillips, who plays Karen Googlestein in the movie, is also hopeful.

"Well. I, for one, was excited," she wrote.
