RIP: Award-winning actress Lindiwe Ndlovu has died

Condolences are pouring in for legendary actress Lindiwe Ndlovu, who has passed away on Monday.

South Africa has woken up to sad news of the passing of one of its most talented actresses, Lindiwe Ndlovu.

Ndlovu began her career in 1999 in theatre, before making her way into television.

She was popular for her roles in several local drama series, including ‘Lockdown’, ‘Uzalo’, ‘Soul City’, ‘ Scandal’, 'EHostela S1’ and ‘Ifalakhe S1’. She also had roles in movies such as ‘Winnie Mandela’ and ‘Little One’.

One of the highlights of her career was being honoured with the Golden Horn Award at the South African Film & TV Awards for Best Actress in a feature film. 

The SAFTA-winning actress passed away at her home on Monday, 11 January 2020.
