Rihanna is bringing Fenty Beauty to South Africa - 'I've been waiting for this moment!'

South Africans will no longer have to order Rihanna's Fenty Beauty products from companies based overseas. 

The singer has revealed that her popular beauty and skin products will now be available in SA and several other African countries. 

"I’ve been waiting for this moment!! @fentybeauty & @fentyskin are finally dropping in AFRICA!!! Botswana, Ghana, Kenya, Namibia, Nigeria, South Africa, Zambia, Zimbabwe...we comin at ya May 27th and that’s just the beginning!!! #FentyAfrica," the Grammy Award winner wrote on her social media pages.

Fenty Beauty and Fenty Skin will be available at ARC Store and Edgars. Rihanna's products are extremely popular around the world. 

The beauty mogul is now worth more than a billion dollars thanks largely to her business ventures, which include the lingerie line, Fenty x Savage. 

According to Forbes, Fenty Beauty generated $550-million in revenue in 2020. The 34-year-old launched Fenty Beauty in September 2017 followed by Fenty Skin in July 2020.

Rihanna told TIME magazine in 2017 that she is involved in every aspect of her beauty business. 

"I have 100 percent involvement in this process, which is what makes this so special and very fun. I have so much creative freedom from products to packaging, and that’s really the only way this brand will stay true to my vision for it," she said. 

The singer's fans in Africa can't wait to get their hands on her products. 

"No, seriously, this is THE BEST news of the year. The year. People are tired of putting our Fenty into their luggage across continents. Buying 4 at a go. Oh my word I’m so happy," one Twitter user wrote.
