Queen of Streams: Taylor Swift makes music history

Another Taylor Swift song has reached one billion streams on Spotify.

Taylor Swift is the official 'Queen of Streams'. The 35-year-old now has 17 solo songs with one billion streams on Spotify.

Swift's 2020 single, 'Willow', reached the milestone in July, bringing her tally to 18. It includes 'I Don't Want to Live Forever' with Zayn Malik.

'Willow' featured on Swift's ninth album, 'Evermore'.

Her other songs in the Billions Club include 'Cruel Summer', 'Love Story', 'Blank Space, 'Anti-Hero' and 'Lover'.

Artists with over 10 songs to reach a billion streams include The Weeknd, Billie Eilish and Drake.

The Weeknd also has the most-streamed song on the platform. His 2019 single, 'Blinding Lights', has nearly five billion streams.

South African singer Tyla joined the Billions Club in February with her smash hit, 'Water.'

Meanwhile, Swifties are crossing their fingers that she will release new music in 2025.

The 'Look What You Made Me Do' hitmaker revealed in May that she won't be releasing 'Reputation (Taylor's Version)' and 'Taylor Swift (Taylor's Version)' anytime soon.

She brought the music rights of all six of her first albums, which means she doesn't have to re-record the music projects anymore.

"I’ve already re-recorded my entire debut album, and I really love how it sounds now. Those two albums can still have their moments to re-emerge when the time is right," she wrote in a letter to fans.

Her next album will likely be an entirely new project.
