The announcement comes after Meghan's father, Thomas Markle, made international headlines for allegedly staging "candid" pictures with a photographer.
Thomas told TMZ he regretted taking the "stupid and hammy" pictures.
He revealed that he would not be attending the royal wedding to avoid causing Meghan further embarrassment. Thomas changed his tune after Meghan reportedly pleaded with him to reconsider.
But hopes of Meghan's father attending her wedding were dashed when Thomas had to undergo heart surgery on Wednesday.
He suffered a heart attack a week ago and checked himself out of the hospital in order to attend his daughter's wedding to Prince Harry. He believes the attack was brought on by his son, Thomas Jr, writing an open letter to Prince Harry telling him not to marry Meghan.
Meghan's mother, Doria Ragland, is already in England. She met the Queen for the first time on Thursday.
Prince Harry and Meghan will tie the knot at St George's Chapel on Saturday.
Kensington Palace has announced that the wedding will be live streamed on The Royal Channel's YouTube page. You can also catch the action on Twitter ( @KensingtonRoyal & @RoyalFamily), Facebook, and the royal family's official website.
Pictures from the day will also be available for viewing on The Wedding of Prince Harry and Ms. Markle.
Live updates and material from the wedding of Prince Harry and Ms. Meghan Markle will be released through a range of our online platforms throughout the day. Find out more here > https://t.co/8sRHa0LH5V pic.twitter.com/3R01DZSn0E
