P!nk has released a new song inspired by all the hate she receives online. The 42-year-old is known to speak out against social injustices and support causes like Black Lives Matter

She often receives backlash from people who don't share the same views, with some internet trolls going as far as telling her to shut up and stick to singing.

The Grammy Award-winning musician used their criticism as motivation for her new song, 'Irrelevant'.

P!nk wrote the song after sharing her views on the US Supreme Court's decision to overturn Roe v. Wade - a case that affirmed a woman's right to have an abortion.

Overturning the 1973 landmark ruling means that states in America can now ban abortions outright.

P!nk shared her views on the matter in June.

“Let’s be clear: if you believe the government belongs in a woman’s uterus, a gay person's business or marriage, or that racism is okay- THEN PLEASE IN THE NAME OF YOUR LORD NEVER F—ING LISTEN TO MY MUSIC AGAIN. AND ALSO F— RIGHT OFF. We good?” she tweeted

While some called her post "stunning and brave", others slammed the star and told her to stop supporting the killing of babies.

Some social media users called her "irrelevant". Two weeks after the drama, P!nk took to Twitter to share a snippet of a new song she was working on.

"You can call me irrelevant, insignificant, you can try to make me small," she sang in the clip.

PInk followed up the video with a post that featured some of the song's lyrics.

"Woke up. Got heated. Wrote song. Coming soon," she wrote on Instagram this week.  The lyrics read:

I think it might rain today
Ash on the ground
Took all the heat we could take
And then burned them down
