PHOTOS: Lady Gaga 'blings' her dog
Lady Gaga has posted a series of photos on Instagram of her French bulldog puppy, Asia, draped in jewellery. Super cute, or too much? Take a look at the pics here.
Gaga introduced Asia, also known as ‘BatPig’, to her 3.7-million Instagram followers in April, and since then her timeline has been flooded with pics of the cute French bulldog pup.
I think Lady Gaga's little Asia is so darling. I love how she is so poised and looks like such a princess.
What a perfect match they make.
Judging by all the photos, it seems Asia goes everywhere Gaga does (once she even took her surfing) and also enjoys snuggling in bed with the superstar.
Lady Gaga also enjoys dressing Asia up; most recently she decked her out in some jewels. Take a look at the photos she posted to Instagram:

It's not only bling that Gaga goes in for though. Two weeks ago she posted this photo, captioned simply "Applause"
But Gaga's latest series of photos has angered a few of her fans - who say that dressing Asia up like this is dog abuse.
It's also come to the attention of animal rights group, People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals, who famously slammed Gaga for wearing a meat dress to the 2010 MTV Video Music Awards.
Here’s what PETA posted on their website in response to Gaga’s pics of Asia all dolled up:
"Lady Gaga may choose to decorate herself with elaborate and even uncomfortable outfits, but Asia doesn’t get to make that choice. Although it seems pretty clear that Lady Gaga loves Asia, we think Asia—and all dogs—are adorable without all the added flair and that the best accessory for any dog is a comfortable, secure, well-fitting harness, which is perfect for long walks together."
