Miley Cyrus reacts to rumour about 'Flowers' music video
Fans can finally put to bed a spicy rumour about Miley Cyrus and Jennifer Lawrence to bed.
Remember Miley Cyrus' gold dress in her 'Flowers' music video? Her fans were convinced, she wore the Yves Saint Laurent outfit to shade actress Jennifer Lawrence.
Lawrence and Cyrus' ex-husband, Liam Hemsworth, were co-stars in the movie 'The Hunger Games'.
The former couple split several times during their relationship, and according to internet sleuths, one split was reportedly due to an alleged affair with Lawrence.
So, imagine fans' surprise when Cyrus dropped the music video for her new song 'Flowes' in January 2023 and she was wearing a familiar-looking gold dress.
Her fans thought it resembled the Prabal Gurung gown Lawrence wore to a movie premiere in 2012.
It didn't help that Cyrus released the song on Hemsworth's birthday.

"I believe it. Jennifer Lawrence gives off those vibes," one TikTok user said about the dress comparisons.
Another user wrote: "I don't want to believe this, but somehow it feels real."
Five months after the music video dropped, Lawrence denied she had a "secret fling" with her handsome co-star while he was dating Cyrus.
"Not true, total rumour," she told Andy Cohen in an interview when asked about the music video.
"I mean, we all know Liam and I, like, kissed one time. It was years after they broke up. So I just assume that was a coincidence."

Now it is Cyrus' turn to have her say.
She recently set the record straight while signing autographs for fans outside the 'Jimmy Kimmel Live!' studios in Hollywood.
A fan asked the Grammy award winner: "Was your flowers dress a reference to Jennifer Lawrence?"
She replied: "No, but I love that dress of hers." Case closed! At least for Lawrence, anyway.
Cyrus just released her latest album, 'Something Beautiful', and one of the songs, 'More to Lose', is rumoured to be about Hemsworth.
The rumour mill never stops running.
