One foot in the door! Harry introduces his girlfriend Meghan Markle to his granny, aka the Queen of England!
Things are getting pretty serious between Prince Harry and actress Meghan Markle. The young royal took Meghan to Buckingham Palace to meet Queen Elizabeth II.
The meeting has fueled rumours that the prince and the 'Suits' actress are set to announce their engagement soon.
The Daily Mail reports that Meghan arrived for tea with her majesty last week Thursday at 17h00.
The meeting lasted for one hour, and Harry reportedly wanted the meeting to be very informal so Meghan would not be nervous.
When contacted for comment, palace officials told the publication that they "continue not to comment on these stories."
Speculation is rife that Harry and Meghan will announce their engagement by the end of the year.
The couple, who made their first official public appearance together recently, are reportedly waiting for Meghan's 'Suits' contract to end so she can relocate to the UK.
Meghan has already met Harry's brother Prince William and his wife Catherine, aka Kate. The 36-year-old has also spent time with the prince's father, Prince Charles.
It looks like Meghan will get her fairy tale ending, complete with a real life prince!
