Listen to Ed Sheeran’s new single ‘Afterglow’
Ed Sheeran has given his fans a very cool Christmas present, a new single called, ‘Afterglow’.
Award-winning singer Ed Sheeran has released his first single after becoming a dad in August.
The singer teased the release on Monday December 21 .
“11am GMT tomorrow. A Christmas present”.

He has finally released the song with an accompanying performance video.
The ‘ Shape Of You’ hitmaker said he wrote the song last year.
“Hey, guys. Afterglow is a song I wrote last year that I wanted to release for you. It’s not the first single from the next album, it’s just a song I love, and hope you love too. Enjoy ! " he wrote on Instagram.

He went on to wish his fans a good holiday break.
"Have a safe and happy festive break and New Year’s. Back to dad land for me now,” he wrote on Instagram.
The single is a love song.
“We were love drunk, waiting on a miracle. Trying to find ourselves in the winter snow,” reads the lyrics.
“So alone in love like the world had disappeared. Oh, I won't be silent and I won't let go. I will hold on tighter 'til the afterglow. And we'll burn so bright 'til the darkness softly clears,” Sheeran sings.
