Lira says she is "doing so well" after making significant strides in her health journey.
It's been three months since a stroke put the brakes on Lira's music career, but the star is doing so much better and can now speak.
The 43-year-old took to Instagram on Thursday to share an update on her health and the progress she has made.
"I’ve made such awesome progress- I’m proud of myself and I give thanks to God. Your prayers have been massively appreciated. I can talk now, although I need a little patience. I can read and I can write," she wrote.
The 'Something Inside So Strong' hitmaker also thanked her fans for their continuous support.
"So much love for me, makes me emotional. I am doing so well!"

Lira was hospitalised in April after suffering a stroke during a trip to Germany. Her team revealed that "her ability to communicate, in particular, her speech, has been impacted".
It's every singer's worst nightmare - not being able to use their voice - but Lira has been working hard to overcome the setback.
Lira's friends and followers are thrilled that she is making good progress.
"God sees, He knows and He cares. You are the apple of His eye. Jehovah Rapha, our healer is with you darling. Sending you deep love Sis’," former Miss South Africa Basetsana Kumalo commented on her latest post.
Yvonne Chaka Chaka wrote: "Amen. God is watch from a distance baby girl. Let there be light."
