Discrimination against homosexuality is still a big issue in the world.

Many celebrities such as Gerry Elsdon and Somizi Mhlongo have spoken out against homophobic comments.

The latest star to confront those who are against homosexuals is Lil Nas X.

This comes after he was criticised for kissing another man while performing on stage at the BET Awards.

Following the performance, some haters took to Twitter to slam the musician, saying he must respect the African culture.

The Grammy winner told the haters to stop pretending like homosexuality doesn’t exist.

“Y’all really like to pretend homosexuality didn’t exist in african culture” he tweeted.

He said that he has been gay for two years.
