Kim Kardashian doesn't like daughter Chicago's name

Kim admits Chicago's name "doesn't flow" and she just calls her 'Chi'.

Kim Kardashian famously gave all three of her children unique and, dare we say, bizarre names, but she is not feeling her daughter Chicago's moniker.

The 'Keeping Up With the Kardashians' star and her husband Kanye West named their third child after his hometown, Chicago.

But Kim admitted in a video on her website that she is not a big fan of the name.

“Chicago just looks really long to me and doesn’t flow, so I call her Chi. That’s it. She can decide later if she wants to be called Chicago or Chi."

Kim says they also considered naming their daughter Jo West, in honour of her grandmother Mary Jo, or Rei after Kanye's father Ray West.

But those names got nixed because her daughter did not look like a Jo or a Rei when she was born.

The 37-year-old added that she has decided to give Chi, pronounced 'shy', a middle name, which Kanye apparently hates.

"I love the name Noel. Kanye does not. So I unofficially Instagrammed ‘Chi Noel’ and I was like, ‘I’m doing this because I want her middle name to be Noel.’... I haven’t really been into middle names, but I really wanted a name that was short — a one-syllable name. Noel is my middle name, and it’s not a one-syllable name, but it’s short," she says in the video.

Kim made the name Instagram official so there is no going back!

The couple's older children, North West and Saint West, will just have to deal with having one name.

Bummer!
