Keanu Reeves "gatecrashes" wedding after getting impromptu invite

Most people scoff at a last-minute wedding invite, but not Keanu Reeves!

The 'Matrix' star attended a British couple's wedding after they bumped into him at the hotel where they were having their wedding.

Bride Nikki Roadnight told Newsweek that her partner James spotted the 57-year-old at the bar of the Fawsley Hall in Northamptonshire.

He struck up a conversation with the "very friendly" star that ended with James inviting him to their wedding reception. 

"[He] invited Keanu to come over to say hello and have a drink with us if he wanted to," Nikki told the publication. 

She said the actor said he would pop in later on, but James was not sure if he would turn up. He was glad he got to meet the star. 

It seems Keanu - who starred in 'Destination Wedding' alongside Winona Ryder- is a man of his word.

He showed up as promised a short while later - wearing a blazer, nogal. Nikki shared several pictures with the actor on social media. 

"Had the most amazing weekend!" she wrote on Twitter.

Not only did the actor take pictures with the bride and groom, but he also snapped a few shots with their guests. 

"He was kind enough to do some pictures and our wedding photographer was able to capture some too! Then he took the time to speak to some of our guests and have more photos done!" Nikki told Newsweek. 

A starstruck Nikki was so excited about meeting the A-list star that she updated her Twitter profile with a picture of her and Keanu - not her husband!
