Kate Middleton has shared how the late monarch has left them with an incredible legacy.
For the first time in 96 years, the Royal house will have to celebrate Christmas without Queen Elizabeth II.
Britain's longest-reigning monarch died at the age of 96 at Balmoral Castle on 8 September. The cause of her death was cited as old age.
The Princess of Wales has taken to Instagram to speak about how this year's Christmas carol service, 'Royal Carols: Together at Christmas', will be dedicated to the late queen.
"So thrilled to be back at Westminster Abbey for our second #TogetherAtChristmas carol service. This year’s service is dedicated to Her Late Majesty Queen Elizabeth II and to all those who are sadly no longer with us," she wrote on Instagram.
"This year, we've invited hundreds of inspiring individuals to the service, those who showcase the power of connectedness and community values," Kate said in the IG video.

She went on to talk about the legacy her mother-in-law has built over the years.
"Her Majesty leaves with us an incredible legacy and one that has deeply inspired many of us."
She also spoke about how different it would feel to celebrate Christmas for the first time without the Queen.
"While Christmas will feel very different this year, we can still remember the memories and traditions we shared," she said.
The 40-year-old has encouraged people to celebrate Christmas with their loved ones.
"Take time to slow down and celebrate with family and friends all the wonderful things that make Christmas so special."
